First thing Fourth of July morning we headed to church for the annual pancake breakfast. After our tummies were full we went home to put up our flag.
Later we went to the park for the city's festivities.

We told the boys that if they slept during quiet time we would go to the fireworks. Jacob slept an hour and a half and we had to wake Isaac up after a 3 hour nap! Guess he really wanted to see fireworks!
They had so much fun and thought it was just hilarious that about 10 minutes from the end of the show the sprinklers went off in our section of the lawn! Quite a memorable first firework experience.
