Last Sunday we had the family over to celebrate Isaac's birthday and my brother Mike's too. After a yummy lunch we all went outdoors to play. It was a gorgeous day!
Isaac was running around, playing with his hose nozzle when he just flopped down on the ground. Guess it was time for a nap!
Jacob loves to go in the garden, pick green onions and eat them. I always know when he does because his breath is stinky! Sunday he wanted to share with everyone. mmmmmmm.......

Jacob was swinging and his eyelids were getting heavier and heavier until he fell fast asleep.
I knew he wouldn't sleep in his bed if we tried to move him, so we decided to just let him sleep there. Since it was pretty sunny, we set up the umbrella to shade him.
After naps we did cake and gifts. Isaac got a bike helmet from us so he can ride in the bike trailer.
He thought it was pretty cool
until we put it on!
I made him a blanket just like his big brother Jacob's, just different colors. He looks real thrilled, huh?
He sure liked the Elmo card from Boppa and Oma! He carried that thing around all week until it was in shreds.
Two of his favorite books. The originals were thrashed so we asked for replacements.
My parents gave us $$ so Alan could make a picnic table. Its still a little big for Jacob and Isaac too (obviously), but we wanted it to be something they could use for a long time. I think Alan did an awesome job!

I still can't believe my baby is a year old already! The past year just flew right by and my baby isn't a baby anymore. He's walking around like a real pro now and starting to act more like a toddler every day. Its exciting to watch him grow and learn, but a little sad at the same time because it is going by so quickly.
Happy birthday, sweet Isaac! You are such a joy and we just love you to pieces!!
