A friend of mine suggested giving the boys marshmallows and toothpicks to create with. They LOVED it!!
Isaac did a lot of smooshing
Which made his fingers really sticky and the toothpicks stuck to them
Which made him kinda mad, but he still had a lot of fun with it
I washed the toothpicks off 'cause I'm Dutch like that. We reused them a few times and I still have them, so it was totally worth it!
So, if you are looking for some cheap entertainment that will keep your kiddos occupied for a while, may get them a little sticky, but encourages creativity, bust out the marshmallows and toothpicks and let them go to town! Oh, and warning: they might eat a few (100).
