After dinner the boys were saying, 'Advent calendar time! Advent calendar time!' since we generally opened the day's gift right after dinner. We told them we had something bigger and better and to go into the living room to see.
Jacob checking out the stockings on Christmas Eve. I know it isn't traditional to open stockings on Christmas Eve since Santa comes that night, but since we don't do the whole Santa thing we open them on Christmas Eve to sort of spread out the gift opening.

Isaac was so excited to discover he had a couple Thomas the Train books in his stocking too!

We also opened the gifts Alan's brother sent to us.
I love how Isaac was peeking under the gift wrapping. As soon as he saw what it was he started saying, 'Cwifowd! Cwifowd!' (Clifford)

Look at Jacob's big saucer eyes. Think he was a little excited about the Thomas the Train track?

Thomas! (and lots of drool)

Isaac posing with his stocking. My grandma made these (my mom's mom who passed away last March) so they are very special.
