Holland Festival

Yesterday was the annual Holland Festival and of course, we couldn't miss it! Who can pass up olie bolen?? For those of you who may not know what olie bolen are, they are a Dutch doughnut - fried dough coated in powdered sugar. Yum! Good thing I only eat these once a year!

Fishing for treasure

Isaac loved the painted fish!

Peeking in the grab bag game

YAY! Another treasure!!

Isaac was also very intrigued by what was behind the screen

So silly!

Oops! Clumsy baby. We see this a lot. Sometimes those little feet just don't work the way they should! Funny how last year Isaac slept in the Peanut Shell the entire time we were at the Holland Festival and this year he was running everywhere, exploring everything!

Ping pong game - Jacob didn't get any in the tins. :(

He was, however, able to knock down one of the pins in the knock 'em down game. YAY Jacob!!

I thought it would be cute to get a picture of both boys standing next to the race car. Ha Ha!! Good luck with that, Mommy! Isaac just wanted to run!

Jacob was completely fascinated with the car, though.

After playing the games and checking out all the cool bounce houses on the field, we checked out all the goodies in the silent auction and then headed to the gym for some lunch. After lunch we went to see the science fair projects in my dad's classroom. Jacob liked the ones about chickens the best!

Fun morning!

I can see Grandpa Boerson beaming with pride on those car pics.
