Grandpa and Grandma got him a pair of shoes. He isn't used to wearing shoes and didn't like standing on them. He kept holding his feet up off the floor and trying to grab them.
He wore them to church today and didn't seem to mind them, so progress has been made. :P
We grilled burgers and chicken for dinner. Alan took this lovely picture of me pretending to eat raw meat. Yum.
Jacob's friend Daniela likes to stand on everything so she tested out all of Jacob's gifts. :) You can see Jacob in the background of the first picture trying to get into the fireplace. Silly boy!

We made monkey cupcakes for dessert. I think they turned out really cute! Jacob sure seemed to enjoy his! He knew just what to do with cake this time around and wasted no time inhaling it!
I love the look on his face in this picture. Its like he is thinking, "Oh goody! CAKE!!!'

Cute cupcakes! SOrry we had to miss the party. Love the Robeez.. those are the only shoes I can get Ethan to wear, he hates all the other ones.
Such cute cupcakes! Zach has one of those balls too and it is one of his favorites! It's so easy for them to pick up and throw. Zach had a similar pair of those shoes too - it took him a little getting used to as well. But now he loves to wear shoes because he knows he's going outside then :)
