Birthday Bike

Today we bought Jacob his birthday gift - a bike! He love, love, LOVES it! First we went to the bike store, but the bikes they had were too big for our peanut, so we headed to Target and found the perfect one for him. He fell in love at the store and threw a big ole fit when we took him off it to put it in the cart. He kept turning around and saying 'BI BI BI' (his word for bike)!!

He doesn't turn 2 until the 17th, but we couldn't make him wait.

He does pretty good with the pedals. The downhill parts of the driveway are a big help.


Ah, the terrible twos. He was getting frustrated that he couldn't do everything by himself. If Alan would give him a little push, Jacob would get mad. If he couldn't get off the bike by himself, he would get mad. If he couldn't work the pedals, he would get mad. He'll figure it out, eventually.

The end. We had to put the bike away when things got really ugly and he was so out of control that he was going to hurt himself. I couldn't resist capturing it, though.
