We had a little party for him at my parents' and had such a good time! Jacob was so funny opening his presents and eating his cake.

Grandpa and Grandma got him some wooden shoes with his name engraved on them when they were in Michigan this summer. Jacob would NOT let us put the shoes on him for a picture!

He sort of picked at the cake at first, not sure what it was, but finally after getting a couple little tastes, he just picked the whole piece up and shoved it in his face!
Here's my little baby a year ago. What a tiny, precious little thing he was! I just can't believe how much he has changed and how much joy he has brought into our lives.

Happy Birthday, Jacob! Looks like a fun birthday! Isn't it amazing how much happens in a years time now that we have little ones to enjoy!?! Looks like lots of new fun toys to play with. Maybe, someday soon Zach can come over and play with you if we ever make it over to CA!
