Isaac had his 6 month check-up today (even though he is closer to 7 months). He is doing really well and the doctor was surprised to hear that he is already army crawling around and pulling up to standing by things. He is 18 pounds (roughly - he was very squirmy and it was hard to get a good reading on the scale) and 29 1/2 inches. He is in the 50th percentile for weight and over 95th for length. He gained more in inches than weight since his last appointment and I can tell that he looks less chubby (he was in the 75th percentile for weight at 4 months). We need to get a new car seat STAT! His infant carrier is supposed to be for babies under 29 inches. This kid is just growing up way too fast!!

Already helping with the dishes
I looked up Jacob's weights in his baby book and at 6 months he was 15 lbs, 3 ounces and 27 inches. At 12 months, he was 18 pounds, 29 inches. So, Isaac is the size now that Jacob was at a year. No wonder I feel like he is so big and growing so fast!
