Jacob has been feeding himself for a while now and using plastic utensils, but it seemed like he was getting too old for them so today I got him some more grown up utensils and also a plate. He had been using bowls and since we moved him from eating at his booster chair tray to the table he can't see in the bowls very well. He would ask for, 'More! More!' when there was still food in the bowl. He just couldn't see it!

Isaac has been having fun at mealtimes too. This week he has been enjoying butternut squash from our garden. Yummy! I think tomorrow he'll try out some peas.
