Fathers Day I

We celebrated Fathers Day with my family last week Sunday since my parents are gone for a couple weeks. Everyone came over to our house and Alan grilled some steak for tacos. Yum-o! It was a gorgeous day so we ate outdoors and then played in the backyard.

They are also fun to just carry around. I believe Isaac has one in each hand here.

My mom made a delicious carrot cake for dessert and when we announced that it was cake time, Jacob got SO excited! We discovered after the announcement that the coffee pot wasn't turned on so we decided to open gifts first. Jacob was VERY disappointed and yelled, 'NO! CAKE!! CAKE!! CAKE!!' Guess he likes cake.

Its so nice that my family lives so close and we can get together like this. The boys just adore Boppa, Oma and their uncles (and Jennifer too - we hear about Jennyfur a lot)! I am blessed to have an awesome dad and to be married to Alan who is an awesome dad too!
