Patio finished!!

The patio work was completed yesterday and I absolutely love it!

Here are a few pics of all the materials filling up our driveway before they started laying the pavers.

And after - no weeds, no dirt. The boys seem to think this is a huge dance floor. Whenever they get on it, they start groovin'!



We had them put pavers down on the little path going from the driveway to the yard.

Before: It wasn't always quite so dirty. This was while the work was being done so things were a little dug up, but you get the idea.

After: This will keep little boys cleaner. Plus it eliminates the big step from the driveway down to the yard. Isaac was constantly stumbling down that.

The place where our contractor bought his materials from overestimated and we've got a bunch of pavers left over. We could have our contractor return them, but we decided to have him quote us on putting pavers down in this area next to the house - just a 5 foot wide path leading to the fence. Might as well, right?

And Alan has the wood on order for the pergola. So the project continues.......
